Here It Is

I think I've decided to go ahead with the dresser and later I'll get it's mate, for Husband. I have a beautiful mirror who's frame I can paint black to help unify the bed side of the room with the dresser side of the room.

You can see that I did purchase the Pottery Barn 'Rooms For Rent' sign mentioned previously. I plan to hang this piece above the bed. The wall behind the bed is highly visible from a long hall leading into the room. Thinking now, headboard/no headboard?

I'm hoping that by having a tall dresser it will become impossible for me to pile my daily wardrobe dysfunctions on it's top. Here's the current one minus a large pile of clothing that is usually covers it.

Now I realize that the room isn't
that bad but it's also not yet that good. Your opinions are welcome.

Very smart of you to invest in clutter prohibiting furniture - I should do that as well...
I really, really like the framed pictures (the silhouettes and the bird).

Gorgeous roof line and a picture perfect little window. I personally would do a headboard to have some feature above which to hang the sign (groovy sign by the way). Beautiful chair and dresser... fabulous bones for the room.... it will all come together.. you've got the flair going already! Keep us updated! A-M xx

Hi, all. Thanks for your positive comments. I'll keep you posted on the progress. I tend to be a thinker more than a doer so it's good to have a little motivation.

All Things Blue- I'm so excited that you like my pictures. You'll see the story about the silhouettes today and the bird picture is from a calendar. I just love to find a beautiful bargain.

I totally love that green wall and the angles of your room. You have lots of style and things to work with so I am sure the room will turn out FABULOUS!

Can't wait to see the progress (I know what you mean about being a thinker and not always a doer, I just don't have enough time for everything I think of! Blogging all the time is good motivation to actually show stuff!)

Happy happy weekend!
