This is one of my prized possessions; silhouettes of our four beautiful children. We had them done at Disneyland of all places. Watching each of them sit so still for the artist as she cut these out so perfectly, spending only about a minute each was the trip highlight for me. And they only cost a total of $45! It's been 5 years and I think it's time for another set.

This style seems very appropriate to their current ages/stages. It will be so much fun coming up with each of their statements.

Oh, I LOVE silhouettes too! I've still got them hanging on the wall from when my two were preschool age...they're now 19 and 22. Yes, it may be time for new ones around here too!
I think I had those made of my girls when we were at Disneyland too, but in all the rush of living and moving a few times, I bet they are packed away somewhere. Oh, I do need to find them! You've got me inspired! My kids teachers have made giant ones when they graduate from kindergarten, so I have three huge ones of each my kids. Those two are packed away somewhere. Pathetic, I need to find them!
Thanks for the inspiration, and for stopping by today!
