Gorgeous colors, that took some thinking. I will go pick some stargazer lilies before the Japenese Beetles get them. I have been fighting the buggers all day yesterday, they are in my cherry tree. yvonne
I don't grow lots of stuff in my yard but did manage to make a lovely small arrangement yesterday of some dried astible fronds and some shabby hydrangea heads. Also, did a few fresh hydrangea heads floating in a footed candy dish with a sprig of purple basil that bolted and flowered--smells wonderful too..:)
Yvonne they are in my roses! Tablesetter, I used mint in mine that had bolted and flowered as well, it's perfect. I thought about using some hydrangeas but I can't bring myself to cut them yet...
This can be taken on a figurative level as well as a literal one. I.e., our world holds all the ingredients we need to create something beautiful... we just need to go out and gather them together.

I just did arrangements for a brunch my sisters and I did for our mother and used all hydrangeas and greenery from my yard. Love garden flowers...
