Do Over

Our dog ate our winter garden. Every last bit. So, until next year, I'll have to be satisfied with pictures of prosperity. I hope you have been more successful than I.

Oooh, that does look bountiful! I can relate to garden dessimation. I awoke one morning to a garden completely devoid of all greens... only wee stumps/stalks remained. We could not figure out what happened. Then, two days later, I awoke to a VERY fat groundhog nibbling at the remaining stalks. That year our garden was primarily broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts and lettuces. The groundhog must have has some serious gastrointestinal discomfort post-feast. j

What a terrible loss! So sorry.

Three years ago, the dog ate two pots of tulips just as they were coming into bloom. I'm trying again now that she's older.

WOW! I am so excited! I have been following your blog everyday for months now. Imagine my absolute surprise when I opened it today to find a photo I took of my garden. Pick me up off the floor!

Miranda, I hope you don't mind. I just love it, it's beautiful.

Nell Jean and J, there's nothing to do but try again, right? I'm not one who is easily deterred, nor do I imagine are either of you. :)

I don't mind at all, I am tickled pink that it would even get noticed. My husband did all the building of the fence and raised beds. I can't wait to show him when he gets home. Thank you!
