I am infatuated with old books. I have love the idea that others have shared in the experience of reading the very book that I am. Some of the titles I've purchased for myself lately have gotten me thinking about how much fun it would be to exchange vintage books as holiday gifts. There are so many of them to be found at such great prices and of all genres that it could really be exciting in how personalized the selections can be for each recipient.

That sounds very inspiring. Ever thought of making it happen via your blog? Like old book swap - either partner up people who enter or we all send them to you and then you shuffle and re-send or something? Interesting... got me thinking now.

b, that's not a bad idea...
I love them too. We have so many beautiful antique stores where I live and one of them bundles same coloured vintage books together with twine, so you have bundles of beautiful deep reds and bundles of lovely soft blues etc. The books themselves are art, don't you think?
