So often maps are full of beautiful colors so why not cover the walls completely in those tones? I've found that it works wonders to use the various colors from one map as the color scheme for the entire house; a cheat sheet of sorts.House Beautiful

I think the whole world should be decorated in map colors... and I guess it is -- "on paper" anyway! For some reason, map colors seem to resonate and have more depth than colors found elsewhere... why is that?
