Lately, I've been thinking about getting some birds and keeping them in a pretty cage on the front porch during the days and then bringing them in at night like they do at my favorite local nursery but I just haven't found the perfect cage.

(We are having a cold, rainy day in central Indiana today...but signs of spring are showing up.)
Think back to having a bird pet or go visit a friend with a bird pet before you make that leap. I was just visiting a friend with a bird and was remineded why I will never own one again!
