Old furniture often has such character and then the things that can be done to give it even more. . . it just amazes me. It's almost impossible for me to consider buying new anymore.

I so agree with you there! I love rummaging for lovely old furniture, especially when it has been neglected, and I can give it some tlc and a facelift.. it's so rewarding!
