{Sunset}There something so beautiful about clothes hung out to dry. The benefits are so many. It gives a chance to spend time outdoors when we might not take the time otherwise. It can be such a quiet contemplative time. It feels like a connection to the past. So many generations before us have done just this same thing.

I love hanging my clothes outside to dry. During the winter we use all sorts of racks-the thrifted ones and the suspended from the ceiling kind that we have made ourselves.
Anna-that's so fantastic! I especially love how crisp the sheets are when they've been hung on the line.
It kills me that homeowners associations do not allow clotheslines. How short-sighted.
