One of my sisters and I have been a bit trunk crazy lately. It all started with a beautiful, beat up, brown one we found for $10 when she moved back to California in August. Then I found a blue one for myself for the same great price but I was so excited about how pretty it was that I forgot to open it up and look inside so I found when I got home that it has an oil stain and scent. No matter though, as my sister found two more last weekend and so it's been replaced. Between the two of us, we have quite a collection!

I've been patiently waiting for an adorable little shack to magically appear in my backyard for a couple of years now but nothing has happened. Last night I sent an email to my husband demanding that he build me an exact replica of this one, this summer, or else I'll do it myself. That just might work...

One of my sisters has been here for the weekend. We've been making the most of the time we have together by eating good food. Today that included one of my favorite pick me ups, brownies, from a box with 1 cup of chocolate chips added to the mix. Yum.

I was, like so many women, a Domino magazine junkie. I have every issue. I loved the positive energy in every issue and their spin on traditional decor which I think went just far enough without being too far over the top. Every month, while flipping through the pages, I felt inspired to get up and do something to improve and enliven our living space!
