I don't read like I used. Yesterday though, I picked up a book, "The Help" and I hardly put it down for the rest of the day. Today, I plan to do more of the same. It seems the perfect way to spend a long holiday weekend, absorbed in a book and otherwise relaxed.

Dear Anthro,
Sometimes I feel like you're one of the few who really get me. You know, really, really understand who I am and what I'm about. I don't even mind that you know how to use that knowledge to make me pine for things in your store like I do for no other. Why? Because I'm convinced. I don't want the product. I want the lifestyle. Book covered walls, butterflies haphazardly affixed to cardboard pieces, a bathroom consumed by plants. I mean honestly, I'm so much closer to this reality than a tidy space where everything has been planned to perfection. So anyway, thanks, it means a lot.

Looking forward to Emily Henderson's new show, Secrets from a Stylist, which premiers tonight. I love Emily's personal style and the fact that she's just a regular girl with really good taste who's made her way onto television. I'm very excited for her even though we've never met. Will you be watching?

A return address stamp doesn't get any cuter than this one done in custom calligraphy. Plus, just looking at the stamp, I can tell that it would be kinda fun to do. . .might encourage more letter writing.

I'm a sucker for furniture pieces. Some girls have too many shoes, I have a harder time passing up a random chair or bed frame than a pair of shoes. I think it's safe to say that I see an old bed just like this one at least once a week at an estate sale and while I admire the original stained wood version, hot pink is so much more fun!
